  Watched this video earlier today. . .

  Once you ignore the caricature of a WT Apostate parts, the interview with Hassan and the producer is really good.

  That Six Screens Guy would scare me right back into the truth if I didn't know better!

  well first i want to thank everyone here for the good points etc... i have received over the last few months.

  you guys have really been helpful!.

  so the other day my mother wrote me a 3 page letter telling me how she was so scared for me because she could tell my love for the truth was gone etc.. so i decided i wanted to totally rip the band-aid off and get this matter over and done with.

  Wow. . . That is something! I would consider it a success, even if your mother's reaction was negative.

  I don't know what your parent's relationship is like, but if its a good one, they will be doings lot of talking in the days to come. Who knows, maybe your father will talk her down.

  i was inspired to write this after listening to a recent podcast of the thinking atheist by seth andrews.

  as many of you know, seth was a devout christian who not only loved contemporary christian music but was one of the hosts of a popular morning show on kxoj in tulsa, oklahoma in the 1990s.

  I argued with an over zealous MS/Elder wannabe over the Grateful Dead song Friend of the Devil. He opened the conversation saying "You know the Grateful Dead are demonic, don't you?"

  it seems the new buzz phrase at the dc that they have been saying more and more lately is that jehovah protects one's spiritual health and that is what is more important that physical or financial health.. spiritual health.

  as if that is something that is really quantifiable.

  he protects it but we have no proof or evidence.. what is spiritual health?

  But one guy slipped in with a jacket but no tie. He must be the worldly target audience.

  Noticed that too. Betcha he's a Bethelite dressed casual to look like a "worldly person." Surprised they didn't slap a fake beard from last summer's drama on him for more authenticity.

  I'm 99.9% certain this was created by the branch (or even HQ), not by a circuit or local cong. This is their "Rouen Project" á la "Manhattan Project"

  Same old ideology as before, just a bit of sugar coating.

  Making it look like an Apple store does not mean there will be a line of customers out the front door.

  Like most of what they do, the society isn't doing this because it is the most effective way to attract people - It may be one of the only ways to keep their slaves from getting bored!

  A pretty expensive propaganda campaign against their own if you ask me.

  I don't see this lasting.
